Stella Maris Catholic Rosary

This is a handmade by me, traditional chain five decade Catholic Rosary.

The Hail Mary beads in this Rosary are 6mm size faceted Mother of Pearl gemstone beads. The Our Father beads are 8x6mm Czech glass matte beads in a beautiful sea blue and green color, surrounded by bronze tone beadcaps. The Crucifix and Stella Maris centerpiece are solid bronze antique reproduction medals. The center features an image of Virgin Mary and the sea with the Latin words "Stella Maris" which translates to "Star of the Sea." Mary is believed to calm raging storms in the seas, as well as the storms in our lives. She leads us to the right path to Jesus.

Mary is regarded as the Stella Maris of fishermen as well as fishers of men, and many coastal churches are named Stella Maris. Mary, the Stella Maris, is the venerated guide and protector of seafarers and the Patroness of The Netherlands. The feast of Stella Maris is celebrated worldwide on September 27th each year.

The traditional chain-link style Rosary is designed to be not stiff and fit comfortably in the hand while praying. This Rosary measures approximately 20 1/2” long from top to bottom of crucifix.

This rosary will be shipped to you with care in a muslin fabric drawstring pouch which you may also use to store your rosary, or use as gift-giving. You will also receive a pamphlet with all rosary prayers in both Latin and English, as well as the traditional mysteries to mediate on for each day.
