This is a hand poured small batch beeswax candle inspired by the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary. This candle, inspired by the fourth Joyful Mystery, The Presentation in the Temple, is pure beeswax and unscented.
The Presentation in the Temple is also known as The Purification of the Blessed Virgin, and is celebrated traditionally on “Candlemas.” So while Mary was ritually purified on this day, this candle remains pure and unscented.
“And after the days of her purification, according to the law of Moses, were accomplished, they carried him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord: As it is written in the law of the Lord: Every male opening the womb shall be called holy to the Lord: And to offer a sacrifice, according as it is written in the law of the Lord, a pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons” (Luke 2:22-24)
All materials and scents I use are 100% clean, non-toxic, and centered around the Catholic faith.
Your Rosary candle is made with :
- Beeswax sourced from beekeepers located in the Midwest.
- A small amount of Organic Coconut Oil.
- 100% Cotton Wick I personally primed with beeswax to ensure a proper burn.
Did you know beeswax candles have been used exclusively in the Catholic Church for centuries? According to the Catholic Encyclopedia, “The pure wax extracted by bees from flowers symbolizes the pure flesh of Christ received from His Virgin Mother, the wick signifies the soul of Christ, and the flame represents His divinity.”
This candle is currently available in :

Candle Care Instructions : Never leave burning candle unattended. Allow the first burn to form a complete melt pool before extinguishing. Trim wick 1/4” to 1/8” short each time before lighting. Keep away from children, pets, and flammable objects such as curtains. Do not burn longer than 3-4 hours at a time. Extinguish the flame with a snuffer or by dipping the wick into the wax pool with a metal object- this will eliminate the chance of soot build-up and smoke.
